What you can test
- Left / right channels: both sides play at even loudness, each in the correct ear.
- Stereo sweep: a tone panned across the stereo field to check balance.
- Bass pulse: response at several low frequencies, to catch rattles and a poor seal.
- Frequency sweep: the full spectrum from 20 Hz to 20 kHz.
- White and pink noise: reference signals that reveal rattles and imbalance between sides.
- Spatial audio and head tracking: a directional test for AirPods and other headphones that support it. A web page cannot do this one.
- Microphone test: record a few seconds and play it back to hear how your headset mic sounds on calls.
- Report: a verdict for every test, exportable as PDF or PNG for a seller, a buyer or a service centre.
