No microphone, no recordings

The tests on this site only play sound. All tones and noise are generated in your browser with the Web Audio API. The site never asks for microphone or camera access and records nothing.

Data stored on your device

Dismissing the app banner is remembered in your browser's local storage, and your cookie choice is remembered the same way. Neither leaves your device; you can clear them in your browser settings.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and to see which pages and tests are used (for example that a test was played, that the guided check was completed with a score, or that a store link was clicked). IP anonymisation is enabled and Google's advertising features are not used. No personal details are sent. Analytics runs in Google Consent Mode: visitors from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked first, and analytics cookies are set only after you accept; if you reject, Google Analytics sets no cookies and receives only cookieless, aggregate signals. You can change your choice at any time in cookie settings, or block analytics with a browser setting or extension without affecting the tests.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics may set first-party cookies to distinguish visits, and in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland only after you accept.

Accounts, advertising and third parties

There are no accounts, no advertising and no data brokers. Links to the App Store and Google Play take you to those platforms, whose own privacy policies then apply. When you scan a QR code on this site, a short redirect page records that a scan happened (store and app identifiers only) before sending you on.

The app

The Headphone Sound Check app for iOS and Android is a separate product with its own privacy notice, shown in the stores and in the app.

Children

The site does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Your rights and contact

Because we hold no personal data about visitors, there is nothing to access, correct or delete on request, but you are welcome to write to contact@nadzeyayashchuk.com with any question. Changes to this policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
